Suva Hibiscus Carnival

20/08/2010 - 28/08/2010

When a group of young men in Suva formed a Junior Chamber of Commerce chapter some 40 years ago (1956), one of their early after dinner speakers was that pioneer of Fiji's tourism industry, the late Mr Harvey Hunt, who impressed upon his listeners the excitement of Hawaii's "Aloha Week" which he had just witnessed. So there was the challenge! Why didn't Fiji do something similar?
