Bayside Resort does not offer hot showers, gourmet food and pampering. What it does offer is beachfront accommodation, a secluded beach for a limited number of guests and a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere.
The resort's fresh water is supplied by natural springs, which constantly flow from high up the hills of Waya Island. There is no electricity or landline telecommunication system at the resort; however, there is mobile coverage. As was in the past, the reliable lanterns and torches are the only source of light.

The cancellation policy is as follows:
- cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 10% of the total booking
- cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking
- no-shows incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking
- in addition to the above charges being levied by Bayside Resort, Fiji Hotel Link charges a handling fee of 10% of the value of the booking with a minimum charge of FJD 20 and a maximum of FJD 50.
Please note that an additional 3.5% administration fee will be charged on all credit card transactions.
