Botaira Resort
Sustainability
After spending many years operating their own businesses, Jerry and Alumita Sovatabua have come back to their island of Naviti. They are passionate about being able to offer guests a unique Fiji experience as well as support the local community by employing villagers.
Caring for destination

Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Supporting the local community
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
One of our reasons for setting up Botaira Resort in this magical locale was to help support the local islanders by giving them a sustainable alternative income. In turn, they have helped us create a wonderful place which took three years to complete. If you are searching for white sandy beaches, magnificent snorkelling straight off the beach and a true Fijian experience, then Botaira Resort is the place to visit.
