Seven-nights cruise itinerary
Cruise departure - Every Tuesday and Saturday at 2 pm
Cruise arrival - Every Tuesday and Saturday at 9 am
Saturday: Departing Denarau marina, cruise to the island of Tivua aboard the Reef Escape. Once you arrive on the island, you can do as much or as little, as you like before your welcome dinner.
Sunday: From Tivua Island, you will sail to the Sacred Island. Soak up the warm climate and sunbathe, swim, snorkel or drift above the island's vibrant marine life in a glass-bottom boat. Then, late in the afternoon, you will depart for the island of Waya.
Monday: Explore the islands, reefs and bays of Waya - a South Pacific paradise where volcanic peaks tower over palm fringed beaches. After a morning of swimming and island exploration, visit the local school and handicraft market. In the evening, enjoy the tastes of Fiji with a traditionally prepared feast, village meke and traditional kava ceremony.
Tuesday: After breakfast, you shall arrive back at Denarau where you can enjoy your free time at the port or choose one of the complimentary half-day tours. You can visit the Garden of the Sleeping Giant and enjoy a Nadi Bay lunch cruise or go on a tall ship sailing adventure. In the afternoon, you shall depart for Tivua Island.
Wednesday: Cruise through the rugged volcanic peaks to the island of Matacawalevu. Visit the local village and wander through the handicraft market. The evening's Pacific Island night is a festive celebration where sulus (sarongs) and tropical shirts are the standard attire.
Thursday: Yasawa Island is your tropical island dream - white beaches, turquoise seas and coral reefs. Hike to the peak of the island and get a bird’s eye view of the famed blue lagoon. The remains of an ancient limestone cave system gives the lagoon its famed azure colour while the jagged peaks of Sawa-I-lau grotto stand at the lagoon's entrance like an ancient guardian. Enjoy the morning at the lagoon or snorkel at the nearby reef before an al fresco lunch on the top deck. In the afternoon, visit the local school where the children will charm you with their smiles. In the evening, it is time for an unusual evening of fun and entertainment.
Friday: Cruise through the Naviti Channels to Drawaqa Island, which has some of the best coral reefs in Fiji. Enjoy a barbeque lunch on the top deck before arriving at Yalobi Bay for more beach activities and the spectacular finale. In the night, experience a traditional Sevusevu welcome ceremony, followed by an earth oven lovo feast and meke celebration, hosted by the local village.
Saturday: Return to Denarau in the morning.
