"4th year at Castaway. Lot's of positive changes since last year.... food menus have been overhauled completely (which it needed) lovely food modern and excellent quality. Internet access in the main bar, bure modifications e.g. safety deposit boxes in each one, bathrooms modified etc.
The staff are all absolutely excellent on the island, warm welcomes, warm hearts and genuine loving souls!
Last year we questioned if we'd go back this year, this year we're already thinking about next years return booking, but with several families!

The staff are all absolutely excellent on the island, warm welcomes, warm hearts and genuine loving souls!
Last year we questioned if we'd go back this year, this year we're already thinking about next years return booking, but with several families!

"It was very disappointing that it was SO difficult to have 5 people in a bure. I have three young children. I was told to get two which is ridiculous - I can;t leave the children alone and I don;t want to be away from my husband. Three beds in our lounge worked very well and I can't see what all the fuss was about. There are lots of people with 3 children. We plan to come back as Castaway was fantastic but we will have to spend our money elsewhere if we can't be accommodated. Many people on the island when we were there said the same thing."
