"The majority of the staff there were very nice, but they were clearly unhappy about their working situation. The toilet/bathroom in my bure was disgusting,and had clearly not been cleaned before i checked in,although i didnt complain. And the towels looked like rags. It's a shame because the resort actually looks really nice, but the owners seem not to care about it too much anymore. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone."

"The staff is wonderful, unfortunately, they make under $2 an hour and tipping is not encouraged in Fiji. They work 6 days a week and can barely afford to live, as Fiji is quite expensive. I would not return to Fiji for these reasons."

"The pre-paid taxi transfer / driver was not at the airport when we arrived; we waited for over an hour and made 6 costly international phone calls to the hotel (which we did not get back). Not the best start to a wedding / honeymoon; we took a taxi to get there (but they did pay for that on insistance.)
Hotel is situated in a beautiful place; away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Has its own quiet beach-front. Cheap shuttles and taxis operate from the hotel.
Lush surroundings, mostly friendly staff - ideal for romance or a kick back and relax. Has 2 happy hours per day and cocktails etc.
We do not rate the food as good quality for money- small portions and not too much variety of it."
