Go beachcombing for shells or kayaking, which in these calm waters can be a great way of really immersing yourself in what surrounds you. Scuba diving is easily arranged as are sailing and fishing charters.

Mountain biking and hiking tours are also available for those that just can't stay still for too long.

tropical fruits and vegetables and even sample some that you may have never seen before.Crabs, lobsters and yellow fin tuna are also on offer. Saturday is the big day for the market, although the vendors are there Monday to Saturday.

Restaurants offering a range of authentic Fijian, Indian and European cuisines mean that you can
avoid the kitchen if you want to.

If you really feel the need to do some serious shopping Savusavu is home to some of the
South Pacific's most amazing black pearls, you can even take a tour to see where they
grow, no samples of course.
