Southern Yasawa Islands Cruise - 3 Nights


On this short introducion to Fiji, you'll discover the beauty of the southern Yasawa Island Group and the overwhelming friendly warmth of tis people.

The pristine island of  Waya, Naviti and Viwa boast some of the most beautiful beaches, coral reefs and sand clays in Fiji. On our journey through the Southern Yasawa Islands, you'll a traditional village sevusevu ceremony and meet the children of an island school. Music and song is an integral part of Fijian life and the special choral church service on Sunday is an unforgettable experience. Swimming, snorkeling, beach combing and glass button boat tours complete your daily list of activities giving you the freedom to do as muchor as little as you like.

The Southern Yasawa Cruise 3 night cruise departs every Saturday therefore you will need to select your check-in date accordingly.

Itinerary
Cruise departure - Every Saturday at 2 pm
Cruise arrival - Every Tuesday at 9 am

Saturday: Swim, explore and relax at Tivua Island before the welcome dinner.

Sunday: Travel to the birthplace of Fijian culture on the Sacred Island. You can unwind by swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, or drifting above the islands coral reefs in a glass-bottomed boat. You shall cruise to Waya Island late in the afternoon for a special treat with a choral service in the village church and then entertainment in the evening.

Monday: We explore the islands, reefs and bays of Waya - a South Pacific paradise where volcanic peaks tower over palm fringed beaches. After a morning of swimming and island exploration, visit the local school and handicraft market. In the evening, enjoy the tastes of Fiji as Reef Escape hosts an earth oven lovo feast, village meke and traditional kava ceremony.

Tuesday: Return to Denarau Marina in the morning.

Notes:

The rates includes Stateroom accommodation for 3 nights, all meals, boat transfers, complimentary pick-up and dropoff from most Nadi hotels to/from Denarau Marina and government taxes.




Cancellation policy

- cancellations made 59 to 30 days prior to sailingwill incur a $200 cancellation fee, per person.
- cancellations made 29 to 15 days prior to sailing will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking.
- cancellations made 14 days or less prior to sailing will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking.
- no show will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking.
- in addition to the above charges being levied, Fiji Hotel Link will charge a handling fee of 10% of the value of the booking with a minimum charge of FJ$20 and a maximum of FJ$50.

Children policy

  • All children must be under the supervision of an adult at all times to the satisfaction of the ship’s Master and must be able to swim unaided
  • Children 5-10 must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
  • Group child minding is provided on board for children 5-10 years inclusive at the following times 9.00am-12noon, 2.00pm -5.00pm, 6.30pm-10.30pm.
  • Nanny hire is compulsory for children under 5 years.  Advance Bookings are ESSENTIAL, and must be made at the time of booking your cruise.
  • Children under 5 years are not recommended for this style of cruise and carried at Captain Cook Cruises absolute discretion (existing bedding). Child rate applies to children 5 – 17 years sharing with adults.
