Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The management is active in educating the villagers to be environmentally aware and responsible for this beautiful unspoilt island. In partnership with the village, they are reserving parts of the two beachfronts to encourage the re-growth of corals and breeding of clams.
They generate their own power on a generator and inverter system so the generator only runs for a few hours each day.
