Toberua Island Resort

Toberua Resort is located on a 4-acre private island covered with immaculate tropical blossoms and palm trees with the clean and comfortable bures only a few steps from the white sandy beachfront. You may exhaust yourself on the wide range of recreational activities and tours available or just laze by the pool and soak up the sunshine. Toberua has a peaceful ambience by night, which is just perfect as you enjoy the fantastic cuisine and the tunes of the resort serenaders.

Restaurant & Bar
Toberua specialties include island cuisine, seafood fresh from the ocean and continental dishes supplemented by a selection of locally grown tropical fruits and organic vegetables from our own gardens. We also have a full bar service with a wide selection of Australian, New Zealand and California wines.

Meals are usually eaten outside, especially in the evenings, when they are taken under the stars. You'll hear the beating of the lali (Fijian drum) when the chef is ready to tempt you to island cooking. Complimentary morning and afternoon tea is also served outside the bar, fresh fruit is available throughout the day from the dining room. Waitresses will bring you the menu wherever you are to take your lunch and dinner orders.

Nothing quite equals candles on snowy linen, stars above and gentle guitars accompanied by the murmur of the ocean to make mealtimes occasions to remember for ever.Toberua intentionally keep the menus international in flavour but will also offer you a choice of many intrinsically Fijian taste temptations, together with others drawn from Fiji's Indian and Chinese communities. Nature has surrounded the resort with a bounteous sea and we obtain our fresh sea foods from local fishermen who bring their catches right to the beach (as do many of the guests as well). Crayfish, prawns (in season), lobster and a myriad of unique crustacea provide irresistible attraction at the table - as do constant supplies of luscious tropical fruits.

Toberua Serenaders will gently fill your nights with music as you enjoy your meals and it may not surprise you that it is the Fijian custom for ladies to ask gentlemen to dance! Dining alone in your bure is no problem, just say so and your meals will be brought to you there. If you have young children the resort prefer they eat an early dinner. To join with friends for dinner parties just ask when your order is being taken.

Late check out policy:
Late check-out is to be requested upon checking-in.

Policy on children staying with parents:
3 children under 16 years of age can stay for free and receive free transfers (between Suva city or Nausori airport and Toberua Island Resort only) when sharing the same room with adults / parents with the exception of the Tropical Oceanfront Bure where 2 children are permitted.

Cancellation Policy:

- Cancellations made 20 days or less prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking.
- No shows will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the total booking.
- No refund shall be made for days not used due to delayed arrivals or premature departure.
- In addition to the charges levied by Toberua Island Resort, Fiji Hotel Link will charge a handling fee of 10% of the value of the booking with a minimum charge of $20 and a maximum of $50.
