- 29 Apr 2012, Mr CARLO J.Octopus is a great resort, and this is my second visit there. The staff are all genuinely a friendly bunch who somehow all seem to remember our names! The food is always good quality, and I especially enjoy the Fijian dishes - would like to see more of them! I would highly recommend the Ocean Front Bure - but not so much the Garden Bure (having stayed in one on my previous visit). The Ocean Front Bure's are good sized, have a deck with chairs on which you can relax and you can enjoy your own private loungers right on the beach. The screen windows allowed the ocean breeze to come through at night which helped keep things cool. We had a minor problem at the end, the details of which aren't relevant. But what is important is that Octopus went above and beyond to rectify the situation, at considerable expense to themselves. And that is what matters - their determination to ensure that the problem didn't ruin what was an otherwise great experience. I look forward to returning.
