The resort is located on the stunning Naviti Islands and nestled within a sheltered cove. Naviti is the largest island in the Yasawas. Fringed by 700 meters of white sandy beach, clear warm waters and vivacious colourful reefs, this is a perfect place to go snorkelling, enjoy the sunshine, sand, and food. Strewn along the beachside are hammocks and sun lounges that you can use to pick a perfect spot and drift into a siesta. Available are a wide range of activities including hand-line fishing, village tours, Mantaray trips, church service outings at the village and weaving demos. Come nightfall, take pleasure in the Traditional Fijian way of Storytelling through live music and meke entertainments. Botaira offers all these with a laid back atmosphere along with the warmth and friendly nature of the people. With their “Daily Happenings” on site, you can never waste a day on this Resort.
For bookings of 5 nights or more guests(adults only) will get a private candlelit lobster dinner along with a bottle of house wine.
After spending many years operating their own businesses, Jerry and Alumita Sovatabua have come back to their island of Naviti. They are passionate about being able to offer guests a unique Fiji experience as well as support the local community by employing villagers.
This accommodation provider has taken action to address one or more issues (whether environmental, social or cultural) which will contribute positively to the long term viability of the destination and hence their site displays a Caring for the destination rating.
Main area of focus in Caring for the Destination:
Supporting the local community.
Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
One of the reasons for setting up Botaira Resort in this magical locale was to help support the local islanders by giving them a sustainable alternative income. In turn, they have helped us create a wonderful place which took three years to complete. If you are searching for white sandy beaches, magnificent snorkelling straight off the beach and a true Fijian experience, then Botaira Resort is the place to visit.
